04/24/2004: "My weekend = bad"

I will start with thursday for this blog. On thursday I tried to donate blood, however there was a small problem. I got past my medical history (which is very full) and the fact I was in foreign country, and everything looked alright. I went to the 'little room in the back' (get your mind out of the gutter gentlemen) for all of the personal questions and everything still checked out. Then...the finger prick. I hate finger pricks. Got my finger pricked, and it bled as soon as she pricked it. Its not supposed to do that. Nor is it supposed to have blood running down my finger from this prick. Hmmm, a problem here. She took some of it and tested it, mmm 'your anemic!', so im anemic, and apparently my blood refuses to clot correctly since it took an hour to stop bleeding from this tiny prick. Oh well.

Friday I was supposed to go to a 'State Rally' for German. We were supposed to leave at 2:30...well, we didnt have a bus. Waited half an hour, got a bus, then we were on the road. Had an ok trip there. Now, hotels. When I signed up, all the rooms were full except a few and I got one of those few. I was the only person in my room. Then a group of three girls hadnt signed up. Well, I get signed up with these girls.

This entry is going to get a bit longer...

After arriving at the hotel at 9pm (the stupid bus wouldnt go over 45mph, and its normally a 3.5 hour trip) we got our rooms. I was tired, so I took a shower and headed to bed. The other girls listened and talked on their phones. 11 rolls around...now they are listening to tv. Im tired, keep in mind, our wakeup call is at 6am. So, on of the girls takes a shower at midnight. I ask them to turn tv off...they turn it down. I sleep on couch so I dont see the tv. I cant sleep with tv on. Finally, at 1am, they turn it off. Everyone sleeps.

Alarm goes off at 6am. Im out the door by 6:15 cause I am hungry. We are supposed to be downstairs and ready to leave at 7:30. I come to the room at 7. The other girls arnt even awake. Guess who as the first event in the competetion? Me, at 8:30. We finally leave the hotel at 8:15. It takes half an hour to get the place. Im late, because of them. I am pissed. *nods*

We get there, I get to room. And guess what? This place gives us a 30 minute ramble on the University we are at. >_<. then I find out, the event I am in, is at 10:30 now, not 8:30...good. I get an hour to walk around the campus. Its a nice campus. Get back to the room where I read my speech, I read, do well, and leave. I go into the commons and play on internet, and some jerkoff knocks my 500 dollars camera to the ground. Well, oops. He didnt even pick it up. Luckly it wasnt broken, just now has a nice dent on its beautiful silver edges. I eat a bologna sandwitch for lunch. Wow...*notes sarcasim* I get on bus. We head home. I spent an entire 14 hours in Baton Rouge...it took 12 to get there. I spent 5 of those 14 hours sleeping. I spent 3 of those 9 eating. It was bad.

The ride back was the worst thing ever. Never ever doing this again. It rained, we got off the bus before it rained. But while we were off of it, it rained and we got soaked. We got back onto said bus. Everything smelled cause we couldnt open the windows. Was awful. In addition to this, we picked up a few people and I lost my single seat, I couldnt lay down. I should author the book, "101 ways to sleep on a bus." Then the last hour, people were making jokes. Girl in front of me (same girl who took shower at midnight) laughed like a hyena. And her braless D cups were in my face after I told her to move them. Just excellent.

Made it home alive. Where I live there is a huge event going on, tons of people. My father took 30 minutes to get me...our house is 3 min from school. Yeah, bad. I get home and I have to repeat this entire entry 3 times for various family members. And I think I have a UTI. Great, eh? Im going to sleep soon.
