01/13/2005: "Things have gotten a bit better."

Things have gotten a little bit better over the past few days. Shannon is still ill, but she had a good day yesterday. She was out playing with the ball and jumping around and such, so that is good.

My father came home, and I was dreading it, but its not to bad. He is very happy to be back home and I dont blame him. School is quite dull this semester. The only thing I really have going for me is the drama play, which is fun. The actual drama class is a bore and I would snooze, but I dont want to be offending.

Also, I have a new consideration for my computer replacement. The Mac Mini although, I prefer to call it the MiniMac. It is a desktop and that is a drawback. Apple does offer education discounts, so I will take that into consideration. Also, my other two peeves for the mac are: a) I cannot get paint shop pro on a mac, I would have to finally use photoshop solely. I dont like being tied to one or the other. and b) its a desktop. My two click mouse problem is solved, since it will take PC mice. I cant stand the one click mouse. But it is nice, and I am putting it on my list of contenders.

I tried to buy JPG Magazine's first issue but unfortually I only have 20.56 cents in my paypal account. I forgot I had to add in shipping which is a buck fifty. But I am going to get it when I sell something off ebay or something of the like. I feel like buying something on my own, without asking anyone. And I will, just when I get the money to!

And since Im in such a talkative mood...im going to make this an extended entry.

Ok, now that we are all here. I am also working on an essay about blogging. Especally Noah Grey's involvement with it. He may hate the word weblog, but he is an important part of it. Maybe it will get me a scholarship, I'll just have to see. He was so kind as to answer my many questions about GreyMatter and his part in blogs, so even if I dont get it I must thank him for doing that.

Soo....MiniMac, Noah, JPG...what else did I want to talk about? Ah yes, I wont be closing this site. I like the name to much, and it means to much for me to just close it. (Funny, I could just easily close my other site, the one that contained my name in the title, like it was easy).

Remember that book, yes, that book from the library. Anyway, I returned the book. Now, the librarians say I didnt. But I did. Now, I must pay 13.95 for a paperback book or they will a) hold my report card and b) not let me walk for graduation. That is a pretty sucky thing, dont you think? I disliked my schools library anyway. Pfft.

Oh! And Logans mother has airmiles...and he will use them to come here. *dances* Going to be very intresting come May. And, I finally did it. No really, I did. I applied to York. Now, I need to get the scholarship stuff ready...and then I will be ready to wait it all out.
