For some reason, during my obscure thinking phase right before bed, my mind started pondering where would I like to live, if I had any choice, in the US. I thought of the big places, L.A., New York, back home to Orlando, ect. Then I thought of the smaller ones, like a house in kentucky, or back to North Carolina. My mind however came to one conclusion.

Washington D.C.

Let me get one thing straight off the bat, I hate politics. So why would I want to move to a place like Washington D.C? Well, Ive been there a few times, and everytime Ive been there I have been facinated by this place. I love the history (dont just tell my old American History teacher), its pretty (yes, ive been to the dark side of DC too), and I just like it. But, I dont think I could live in the city, I would probably live in Virginia. Apart from not being able to afford a place in the city...its so small and tighly spaced, so I would probably want to live outside of DC.

I love the museums. When I wanted to be a curator, I first looked there for possible jobs and found that one was avaible at the Holocaust Memorial Museum and I was elated. Also, they had space for one at the National Library. Talk about my kind of jobs.

I like the subway system there. Yes, I know, its a strange thing to like. But, aside from my bike, its my favorite mode of transportation. The monuments are cool, but they are nothing I would stay for. Annnnnd, there are alot of photo oppertunities in D.C. (yes, I know I can take pictures in DC as well as I could in New York). (Hmmm, it almost seems as if I am talking to someone...)

And, for what I want to now do (Journalism), D.C. would be a good place. So, if you could live anywhere in your country, where would you live?

Im back! I am offically in South Carolina, in my new house. We just got a telephone, which means I get dial up internet for the time being. Then I get wireless high speed internet. Thank Goodness.

Everything has been so so lately. Im very bored most of the time. I cant use the internet too often, and I couldnt call any of my friends (canada included) for the past week. But now I have a nice telephone plan and can call people.

I got to visit an old friend of mine for 2 days. She was really nice! And getting so tall. When I left her 4 years ago, she was *tiny*, now she is taller than me. I will have to put some pictures up later. We make a cute pair.

In other news, note to Artimus: Ive called you so many times, my number has to be in your caller ID by now. You really really need an answering machine. I left a message in IRC, so if you see this before that, go look. I miss you a whole lot. *hugs* Hopefully work is going good for you.
