So a 5'2 girl tries out for the school play, having never done this before. Sounds like the start to a bad joke, but it isnt. *gasp* I am actually trying out for the school play, "A Night of One Acts". Im trying out purposly for the part of an english teacher, but today she had us read all of the teacher parts today to find out who could do it, and who could do it most convincingly. Im afraid that I will sound/look too young to do it. *le sigh*

Sucks to be shorty sometime.

But also trying for the parts of a drama teacher (probably wont get), a crazy drama student (wouldnt be hard to do!), and some random student with a kissing scene, who may actually be the crazy drama student...but I am not sure. I will probably just get chorus role for the other play (there are two, a competition piece and a school peice), on the account there are only two main roles in the other play. A girl and a boy, and I wouldnt want to be the girl in that play anyway...very dreary play that school one is. The competition one is hiliarous.

"Oh come on, you can do it better than that! Boys, close your ears if you dont want to hear anything bad. Girls, I want it sensual, alot of energy...basically sexual. Take it away." Well, that was certainlly most intresting to act out...my friend...goodness, she got into the act...really into it.

And besides that...not much else new. Journalism is torture, but what news is that? Nada. My Thanksgiving holiday was very good. We had lots of good food, and lots of shopping. Got all of my christmas shopping done, except for my mothers which I am getting online. She wanted a picture framed (its an almost panoramic pic) and I went to have it framed...they estimate it at $150. Im sorry, cant get that...Im broke! So I decided to get her a few movies I know she likes.

And I asked my santa for Epson Stylus Photo R200. Along with a few dvds, two books, and a bath robe. Sounds like a very good christmas...just too bad my father wont be here because hes deployed. And on that note, I end this entry. *le sighs again*

Thank you...

for letting me have my mother and brother with me on this day.

for keeping my father safe, and out of the way of danger.

for what I have now, and what may come.

for giving me a past I can look at and realize I dont regret anything.

for me being who I am.

for letting me get to teach 7 and 8 year olds everyweek about God.

for letting me be in love, and having someone to lean on no matter what.

for getting a full ride to a private college, even though I dont really deserve it.

for me being alive and not brain damaged.

for my Mother and Father, William, Logan, Frankie, Amanda, Jonah, JD, Sharon, and everyone else who helps me on a daily basis, and some dont even realize it.

...for everything.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the states. Keep in mind, despite the domain name, I am not actually an eskimo or canadian. So without further delay: a thanksgiving story. Well, more like a few lines.

A few years ago, like...6 or 7 ago, my mother was making the turkey as she usually did. We lived in a typical surburan neighbourhood. Well, after she made this 15 pound turkey, she set it outside to cool. The house was very warm from everything else so she wanted cool air to cool it. Well, we have two german shepards, but we had a pouch high off the ground, so she set it on that so the dogs couldnt get it, and they didnt. But well, after about an hour my mother walked outside to check on the turkey and she saw the turkey...with a butt and a tail sticking out of it. The neighbours cat had gotten to our turkey, and was stuck inside of it. No joke, really happened. My mother was furious. We got the cat out, gave it back to our neighbours and didnt have turkey that year.

That wont be happening this year, my mother learned never to set the turkey outside. If a siamese cat can get past two german shepards and jump about 10 feet to get onto a porch...dont leave the turkey outside.

In other news, here are some intresting links:

Kids Visit Margaritaville: Teachers and other faculty had a mexican themed party in afterschool hours, inclusing Margaritas. The school ran out of milk and decided to pull out some limeade for the students. 4th, 5th and 6th graders got cups of margaritas with tequila, I probably would of finished the cup. ;)

My Moral Values: Intresting site. I had to post on there. Basically my post said that my moral values were literaly that, mine. I cant put them on the American people, and nor should the US government.

Math Whiz Sets Record for Mental Calculation: Square root of a 100 digit number is 11.80 seconds.

Alright, thats all folks. I think the next post will be "Random Quotes: School edition."

Ive been corrupted, its offical. The person at fault? Logan. He sent me the most famous works of monty python, granted, I asked for them knowing that the contents would make my mother cringe, but thats besides the point! Anyway, im corrupted, and as logan would say, it would take a whole lake to clean my now dirty mind.

So, people who visit my website, how does the new design look? Do you see any glitches? You will notice at the bottom of the page on the right is a search tool to search enteries since I had requests for a search function. Really? Im that intresting? Thats a first for me. Im usually pretty dull unless you get in a chat with me and then I can be either intresting or terrifing. Well, my spelling is terrifing here anyway, and Grey Matter doesnt have spell check. Scary, isnt it?

Ive lived for the past *counts* 5 days with a four year old girl. It is my mothers friends daughters daughter. And the girls name is Regan and calls my mother Grandma K. Well, shes cute and everything, but these kids should come with a warning label. Danger to cars, candy supply, beanie babies, and sleep. My family, including myself, like our sleep. We take an afternoon nap most days. Thanksgiving we eat, then sleep. Very simple. With a 4 year old? We have to take naps in shifts...its not fun.

In addition, two of my beanie babies had their tags ripped off. Keep in mind, these were collectors items that I fought over when I first got them. (We stood in front of the store at 4 am and when we got in, a fight ensued over the mothers over the bears.) And she took a peice of wood and was hitting the outside of the car, AND she spilt stuff in my mothers seminew car. Seriously, they are dangerous.

For everyday that she has been here, I think Ive added a year onto the time I wanted to have children. Its up to about...33? Yeah. Old.

So, Im off for Thanksgiving. Well rather, I will be here plenty, off of school. *goes to listen to more monty python*

Im working on a redesign right now for this site, as well as my other personal site. At least this site is easier, the other one I am using iframes which are a pain to code. Im going to give this place less of a blue look, and more of a homey winters evening look. Nice a warm with a fireplace, I think its a good idea. Also changing the CSS to this thing, im not used to the floating columns on the side. It should be intresting.

So, I havent been up to much lately. Basically, school is slow, preparing for finals, and dealing with 8 year olds. No more politics, no more parties. El fin, im done, thats all.

I did, however, make a small video. It is of the chorus of 'Deliver Us', from the prince of egypt. Only different thing is that Im signing the song. So if you want to take a look, click here to get it.

In other news, Jonah has been up to podcasting. It is a nifty feature, and I would try it, but I do not have the bandwidth nor the RSS feeds for it. (I say this as I just posted a mini video on my server...)

In the blogging world, I have read many a blogs about vibrators recently. Since I dont have any two cents to add on that, I will just post this nifty clip someone found for me:

English soccer ace David Beckham has spent a staggering $1.8 million on the world's most expensive sex toy as a present for his pregnant wife Victoria. The platinum vibrator, with a 10-carat diamond encrusted base linked to a 16-carat diamond necklace, is one of only 10 in the world -- and was created by London strip-club owner Peter Stringfellow.

I am afraid of the google searches I am going to be getting for that one, but I bet my traffic will go up....But dang, I could think of several other uses for 1.8 million dollars.

In other news, Afafat is dead, which isnt much surprise to anyone. Im not even going there, it relates to politics afterall. And last but not least, thank you Washington Post for this artical, maybe now people will get the message!.

Ive been working on my personal site for the past few days. I wont post the link here, but for those of you who know what it is, check out the gallery, it is really nice. I even added pictures from my Myrtle Beach trip last weekend.

Speaking of that trip, it was intresting to say the least. I was streaked by a 30 something year old male, solicited for sex once (in a very corny fashion), and got wet in the beach. Oh yeah, and got sick from eating ice creams from friendlys, cant forget that. Was an ok trip, besides that. I got lotsa good pics. If my webhost ever gets the premissions right for me to set up gallery, I will post them here also.

Bah..bedtime.

Its about time for the mud slinging to end. Im glad it is over. I cannot say I am paticularly happy with the outcome, but I am glad it is over. It was a good race, even slightly unexpected. I just wish I turned out differently.

I do hope some good can still happen. I want to be able to go to University I want to go to. I dont want to have to pay 200 dollars in medical insurance as soon as I graduate, just because I was born with something that puts me in a medical perdicament. I dont want to be dependent on 1.85 gas prices to get to and from school. I dont want a draft.

I just have to hope everything can still work out. And if you reply to this blog, and you have nothing good to say for me, you will get an earful from me later. But I am glad the mudslinging is over, its about time.

As for 2008, thats another day. I dont know where I will be, or what country I will live in, or if I will even have the urge to vote. All I have to say to those who voted Bush: You brought the next 4 years upon yourself. You can no longer say it was a mistake to elect him the first time, because you have made the same mistake twice. Live with whatever happens.

As for me, back to my old game, taking each day as it comes. I just know Roe vs. Wade better not be overturned, we better not invade Iran or North Korea (seeing as they are already problems in themselves), and we better start getting more jobs soon.

As I said before, if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. I dont want to hear it.
