Youge Street?
The bad thing about taking photos in a place you are not familiar with is that you can never remember exactly where you took them, unless you have someone to tell you where. I THINK this was on Youge street...near C'est What. Its not exactly representative of Toronto...but it was certainly different than what I usually take shots of. Plus, we never have smoke coming from the ground...very weird!
The meeting went very well last night, was quite fun. But if you ask me to tell you who was there, I probably couldnt tell you without looking at the business cards I got. The only two people I really got to know there were Rannie and John...and I dunno what John's website is. Rannie is of course photojunkie.ca. Was quite a good evening, and I am glad I went. I only wish I could go to the big big meetup in May...but I have no place to stay in Toronto for the 3 days. At 100 dollars a night for a hotel in the city, its way to expensive...plus the plane ticket and food...Toronto is a very expensive place to be. Not to mention, canada is very expensive.
Anyway, today is my 'birthday'. Logan and I are celebrating it today, its actually in a couple of weeks. Hes making me a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and strawberry jam. Yuuuuuum, and good pasta. And tonight we are going to a comedy house that is supposly really big (had Jay leno and Jim Carry among some)...called Yuk Yuk. Interesting name! But alas, all things must come to an end...Sunday I go home. So two more nights here. sniffs
